Is Parsio free? What the free plan gives you

Yes. Parsio has a free plan with 30 credits a month, all four parser engines and no credit card required, as Parsio words it. A credit is what Parsio spends the first time it parses an email or document. Its pricing table calls this plan Sandbox; its plan card calls it Free.

The first paid plan, Starter, is $29 a month, billed monthly, or $24 a month, billed annually ($290 a year), for 100 credits.

What 30 credits buy on each parser engine

Parsio's free plan has 30 credits a month, which its pricing page turns into 10 AI-parsed pages, 15 GPT-parsed pages or 30 template or OCR pages; some product pages say 20 pages.

The split follows each engine's cost per page. The template-based parser, where you highlight values in a sample once, is 1 credit a page on the pricing page and 1 credit a document in the help center. The GPT-powered parser, where you list fields in plain language, is 2. The AI parser, with ready-made models for invoices and receipts, is 3. The OCR converter, which turns scans into text and tables, is 1.

A one-page email costs 1 credit on the template engine, spent only the first time it is parsed, and passing it onward to a CRM also uses tasks or operations on Zapier or Make.

What the free plan leaves out

Parsio says all features are in its free plan, yet the Free card lists the AI code assistant, unlimited team members and priority support as not included.

The AI code assistant writes post-processing Python, an optional step that reshapes parsed data before export. Unlimited team members start at Growth, $149 a month, billed monthly, for 5,000 credits.

Card, account and refund terms to know before you start

Parsio's pricing page says the free plan needs no credit card, though its terms let a free trial ask for billing details, so "no card needed" is Parsio's own statement. Parsio pricing gives the full wording and every paid plan.

Parsio calls its free plan "Free forever", and its terms let it delete accounts that stay inactive for three months. The terms also forbid creating multiple free accounts.

Parsio documents no timed trial of a paid plan and no money-back guarantee, and its terms say all purchases are non-refundable. Annual billing is paid up front, so a month on monthly billing is the lower-risk first paid step.

When to move to Starter, and free options elsewhere

Free options elsewhere count different units:
