Nanonets alternative: the short answer and the price table
Parsio is the Nanonets alternative that charges a set number of credits a page: Starter is $29 a month, billed monthly, for 100 credits. Nanonets starts with $50 in credits, then charges $100 a month for 100 credits and bills each workflow step per run, so what one invoice costs there varies. Veryfi, at $0.16 an invoice on a $500 monthly minimum, is the per-invoice alternative.
| Alternative | Entry price | How it charges | Free option |

| Docparser | Starter, $39 a month, billed monthly | Credits: 100 a month for 100 to 500 pages | 14-day trial, no credit card |

Start free with Parsio →Why people look past Nanonets
Nanonets sells usage in blocks. A block is a single step in a workflow, such as extracting data, classifying a document or posting to an integration, and each run is priced: $0.02 for a simple operation, $0.10 for standard AI and $0.30 for complex AI such as data extraction. Nanonets says a typical invoice workflow runs 4 to 6 blocks per document and puts the end-to-end cost under $2 an invoice.
Starter allows up to 3 users and includes email integration, API access and community support. Growth is priced by quote, so a flat monthly cost cannot be read from the page. In Nanonets' favor, its credits never expire.
Monthly plans: Parsio and Docparser
Parsio's AI parser has a pre-trained invoice model at 3 credits a page, and Parsio says that model is trained on millions of invoices; the pages read give no accuracy figure. Parsio lists invoice number, dates, vendor and customer details, line items, taxes and totals among the fields, and reaches QuickBooks and Xero through Zapier, Make or a webhook workflow.
Parsio's 100-credit Starter plan is $29 a month billed monthly, or $24 a month billed annually ($290 a year). The free plan, which Parsio's pricing table calls Sandbox, holds 30 credits a month, and Parsio says no credit card is required.
Docparser's Starter is $39 a month billed monthly, or $32.50 a month billed annually, for 100 credits that its page sizes at 100 to 500 pages a month. It reads PDF, Word and image files and offers a 14-day trial with no credit card. Pick Docparser for multi-page PDF, Word or image files.
Per-document and per-page APIs: Veryfi and Amazon Textract
Veryfi charges $0.16 per invoice on Starter, with a $500 monthly minimum. It is free up to 100 documents a month, and its 14-day trial needs no credit card. Its billing unit, an API transaction, is one document of up to 15 pages. Veryfi is an API for developers.
Amazon Textract has no plans: you pay per page through an API, so someone must write code. Its Analyze Expense API, built for invoices and receipts, is $0.01 a page in Amazon's US West (Oregon) pricing example. New AWS customers get 100 Analyze Expense pages a month free for three months.
Enterprise contracts, and who should stay with Nanonets
Rossum is priced by quote, with a minimum contract of one year and a 14-day trial. Pick it for an annual enterprise contract, not a small monthly plan.
Stay with Nanonets when the job is a workflow of extraction, classification and posting blocks and credits that never expire matter more than a lower entry price. Parsio's free plan covers 10 AI-parsed invoice pages a month, so ten one-page invoices can be tested at no cost. Parsio vs Nanonets has the head-to-head, invoice parsing software lists more tools, and Parsio alternatives covers the other direction.
